The WestShore Chorale annual holiday concert at the Magnificat Center for the Performing Arts on December 7, 7:30pm for $15 each (students are free). Special Notes

HOSPICE OF THE WESTERN RESERVE is looking for volunteers to help families and seriously ill patients at a difficult time. Training sessions are being held at the Hospice of the Western Reserve Lorain Office, 2173 North Ridge Road, Suite H, through September 16, 2008, beginning at 9am. HELP WANTED! Parma-South is seeking a person for the Parish Nurse position to work ten (10) hours a week. Requirements are: An R.N. with some experience and a desire to work with people in a church setting. Training and work through Fairview Park Hospital's Parish Nurse Program. FOOD SUNDAY is September 28. In planning ahead, the Community Corner suggests the following items: non-perishable breakfast foods - cereal bars, pancake mix, syrup, waffle mix, hot cereals, etc. Of course, the stand by for younger children is diapers, formula, baby food, etc. Thank you for your continued support!

BOOK REVIEW GROUP:

will meet on Wednesday, September 10 at 11:00 am in the Church Parlor. Reverend Bill Keene will review the book "AMISH GRACE: How Forgiveness Transcended Tragedy". It's about the response of the Amish community to the horrific shooting of ten schoolgirls at Nickel Mines, PA in October 2006. Refreshments will be served.
